A picturesque anchorage near Stromboli, but it’s not without its challenges. The anchorage is mostly exposed, and with limited protection from wind and swell, it’s best suited for calm weather. The black sand seabed provides decent holding, but you’ll need to carefully position yourself, especially given the crowded mooring field and rocky areas nearby. The space for anchoring is quite restricted, and you may find yourself anchoring near the edge of the buoy field in depths around 8-9 meters.
