2 Reviews on “Baie de Saint-Jean”
The Saint-Jean Bay, close to the airport, is fringed by a long white sandy beach featuring numerous restaurants and a water activities center. You can anchor in the southeastern part of the bay.
Access to the bay is through an unmarked channel with a maximum depth of 13 meters. It’s best to choose a clear day and wait for the sun to be high for better visibility.
The shallow rocks that protect the bay don’t always block the swell. It’s recommended to drop two anchors, facing the swell for confort, in about 3 meters of water.
