I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, which made the check-in process smoother. However, the facilities could use some updating. The showers and toilets were okay but not pristine, and the small market didn’t have much in terms of fresh produce, so stock up before you arrive!
One thing that caught me off guard was the cost to access the hotel’s amenities. If you’re hoping to use the pools or enjoy the dining options at the resort, be ready for some extra charges. On the plus side, the WiFi was reliable, which was a nice touch.
A word of caution: the bay can get busy, and I had a few encounters with persistent boat boys. Also, the water wasn’t as clear as I had hoped, which was a bit disappointing given the beauty of the surroundings.
