1 Reviews on “Soufriere Bay”
Soufrière Bay is a stunning spot, especially with its breathtaking views of the Pitons. There’s a bustling vibe with many locals offering fruits, crafts, and excursions. Although it can get lively and noisy with various boats and bars around, the night tends to be quieter and more peaceful.
The snorkeling around here is fantastic, with clear water and some lovely coral reefs. However, you’ll need to navigate around the boat traffic and occasional debris in the water.
The dinghy dock is secure, but the surrounding infrastructure shows signs of wear, particularly the pontoon, which is partly destroyed. The village has a charming local feel, with friendly residents and some decent places to eat. The sulfur smell from the nearby volcanic activity can be noticeable, but it’s part of the area’s unique character.
