1 Reviews on “Badia de Roses”
Badia de Roses, a broad bay on Catalonia’s Costa Brava, is popular for anchoring thanks to its spacious waters, sandy bottom, and good holding. It’s sheltered from winds from the north and northwest, although easterly winds can occasionally bring in some swell. The bay’s size allows for plenty of anchoring space, so even during peak season, finding a spot is generally not a problem. The town of Roses lies at the northern end, reachable by dinghy, with many services, including grocery stores, restaurants, and marine supply shops. Nearby, historic sites such as the Ciutadella de Roses add a bit of culture to the visit, along with coastal hiking trails for a stretch on land.
