Cala Maria is a tranquil anchorage with a more intimate atmosphere. It’s a small bay, providing decent shelter from northerly and westerly winds, but be cautious if winds shift from the east, as the anchorage becomes quite exposed. The holding is reliable on a sandy seabed, though there are some rocky areas to avoid when setting anchor.
The water is clear and inviting for a swim, and you’ll find yourself surrounded by rugged cliffs, which add to the secluded feel.
