2 Reviews on “Port Bunarina”
Pula seamlessly blends ancient history with modernity, boasting numerous Roman monuments and diverse events. Just 4 km from Port Bunarina, the Old City is accessible by boat through Port Pula, bus (20m from Bunarina), taxi, rented bike, or a 40-minute walk. Only 7 nautical miles away is Brijuni Islands National Park, an aristocratic boating haven. Travel 8 nm south to discover the protected Kamenjak area. Lucky sailors might even spot dolphins!
This small marina provides good basic amenities, including water and electricity, and is sheltered from most winds, making it a safe spot for an overnight stay. What makes Bunarina appealing is its proximity to the vibrant city of Pula, which is just a short distance away. Whether you’re interested in exploring the Roman amphitheater, strolling through Pula’s old town, or enjoying some local cuisine, it’s easily accessible from the marina. The port itself is calm, with a relaxed atmosphere, and it doesn’t get as crowded as some of the larger marinas in the area. However, it’s more of a functional stop than a luxurious one, so don’t expect a full-service marina.
