The sea is never calm during the day, with waves bouncing your boat from all directions. I remember being caught off guard by the smell—an overpowering sulfur stench from the volcano. It’s surreal, like you’re on another planet! That said, there’s something incredibly unique about swimming in the warm, bubbly waters near the beach. It’s like the earth itself is alive. I’d also recommend waking up early to hike the volcano, where you get those unbeatable sunrise views. Finding a good anchoring spot might take some patience, and you’ll likely be dropping anchor at about 10 meters deep or more if the area’s crowded.
