1 Reviews on “Baia di San Fruttuoso”
Baia di San Fruttuoso, in the Ligurian region, is a picturesque anchorage that attracts many sailors. Nestled between the cliffs of the Portofino Promontory, the bay offers excellent protection from most winds, providing a calm environment for anchoring. The waters are crystal clear, perfect for a swim or a bit of snorkeling, with the backdrop of the iconic Abbey of San Fruttuoso, a popular landmark. The bay itself is small and can get crowded during the high season, especially with tourists arriving via boat or hiking from nearby Portofino. However, its peaceful charm remains intact. There’s a small pebble beach, but facilities are limited. The closest town is Camogli, just a short sail away, where you’ll find local restaurants, shops, and a small marina.
