Cala Marinella, in the Zingaro Nature Reserve on Sicily’s northwest coast, is a tranquil and beautiful spot. This small cove can only be accessed from the sea or via a challenging hike, which makes it an ideal spot for those seeking solitude or a scenic place to relax. The water here is a vivid turquoise, and the surrounding cliffs provide a striking backdrop. However, it’s not the easiest beach to enjoy for everyone; the rocky platform can be tricky to access, especially at high tide, where swimmers may have to scramble down the rocks to reach the water The beach is surrounded by rugged cliffs, and it’s common to see visitors hanging out on the rock platforms rather than the small pebble beach. Since the area is protected within the Zingaro Nature Reserve, you’ll find it peaceful and relatively untouched.
