1 Reviews on “Marina di Cala Gavetta”
Located right in the heart of La Maddalena town, it provides easy access to shops and restaurants, which is a huge plus. Booking over the phone is usually straightforward, but you might need to be persistent, especially during peak season.
The mooring assistance here is generally very professional and helpful, though the harbor can get quite crowded, so you might find yourself waiting for a spot, particularly if you’re navigating in a deeper draft. The marina is well-equipped with water, electricity, and fuel, and the showers and toilets, though not included in the mooring fee, are clean and well-maintained, albeit at an extra cost.
Be prepared for some noise from the lively town and nearby roads. If you’re allocated a berth near the town, you’ll be right in the thick of things, which can be both lively and a bit noisy. However, if you’re after a quieter experience, aim for the pontoons further from the quay.
