The seabed consists mainly of sand and mud, which provides good holding for anchors. Depths in the bay range from 4 to 7 meters, giving ample room for anchoring. The bay’s orientation generally shields it from the worst of the prevailing winds and swells.
Indian Bay is conveniently located near the capital, Kingstown, so you can easily access local services and provisions. While the immediate beach area is not particularly developed, the nearby town offers dining and shopping options.
