Bahía de Arrecife, located off the eastern coast of Lanzarote, provides a well-sheltered anchorage with easy access to the town of Arrecife. This bay offers protection from the prevailing northeasterly winds, making it a comfortable spot for anchoring. Depths range from about 5 to 10 meters, with a sandy bottom that ensures good holding for most types of anchors. There are also nearby amenities, including a marina in Arrecife that provide full services, from fuel and provisions to restaurants and repair shops. The town itself has a relaxed but vibrant atmosphere with plenty of cafes, shops, and local markets to explore.
