Cala Bea, tucked away along Tarragona’s coast, is one of those anchorages that offers a decent spot to drop anchor in calm weather. The protection here is mostly from northern and western winds, so it’s important to check the forecast if you’re planning to stay overnight. Holding is generally good, with sandy patches that give the anchor a solid grip.
While amenities aren’t nearby, a short dinghy ride brings you closer to Tarragona’s harbor if you need supplies.
