1 Reviews on “Cala del Forn”
A charming and relatively quiet anchorage along Catalonia’s Costa Dorada. The cove is small and shallow, with a sandy seabed that provides good holding, though it can get a bit tight for larger boats. The area is well-suited to smaller vessels or those visiting outside peak season when space might be less of an issue. Surrounded by cliffs and vegetation, Cala del Forn feels sheltered and tranquil, though easterly winds can bring in swells. The clear waters make it a fantastic spot for snorkeling. A small beach nearby is accessible by dinghy, and there are some basic facilities ashore, including a beach bar for refreshments. For a bit more activity, the town of Ametlla de Mar isn’t far, offering restaurants and shops for provisions.
