An appealing anchorage surrounded by natural beauty and historical intrigue. The bay is sheltered from most wind directions. A mixed sandy and rocky bottom provides good holding. Its calm, clear waters are ideal for swimming and other water activities, but the anchorage can become busy during the summer months, as it’s a popular stop. The area is known for its natural caves, which have historically been used for burial sites, adding a touch of historical intrigue to the anchorage. While there are no immediate services at the anchorage itself, the nearby town of Alaior offers convenient provisions, restaurants, and facilities.
