When I arrived, I was greeted by the marinero who helped me secure my boat against the quay, which was a relief given the tight space. The facilities are pretty basic—no showers and no electricity, which might be a bit of a letdown if you’re used to more amenities. The restrooms are in a separate building, which isn’t always the most convenient.
What makes Puerto de las Nieves special is the surrounding village. It’s a lovely spot with a relaxed atmosphere, lined with restaurants and bars that give you a taste of local life. I enjoyed a refreshing dive with a local diving club and relaxed by the natural pool.
