1 Reviews on “Puerto Rico”
The marina is well-equipped with electricity, water, and fuel, which is always a plus. The showers and toilets were clean, though the welcome pontoon made of concrete wasn’t the most comfortable, especially when the tide was out. I found that having good fenders and lines at different heights was crucial here. Puerto Rico itself is very touristy, which can be a bit of a double-edged sword. On one hand, it’s got everything you need: shops, restaurants, and bars. On the other, it can feel a bit commercialized. The local beaches are beautiful, and I enjoyed strolling along them, but the area’s focus on tourism means that everything is a bit pricier.
For a longer stay or if you’re looking for a more tranquil spot, this might not be the perfect place. But if you’re looking for a well-serviced marina with lots of amenities and don’t mind a bustling tourist scene, Puerto Rico is definitely worth a stop.
