The anchorage itself is quite exposed to the rolling seas, so it might not be the best choice for an overnight stay if there’s wind. The bottom is sandy, but you need to be cautious of the coral and shallow areas, especially near the edges of the bay. The best practice is to stay in front of the massage pontoon and avoid venturing too close to the corals.

Despite its exposure, Anse Accul’s setting is stunning. The clear waters and serene beach make it a great place to unwind during the day. However, if you plan to stay overnight, be prepared for some rolling, and make sure to anchor securely. The presence of the Club Med resort does add a lively touch during the day but may contribute to noise and activity. For a quieter experience, consider visiting during off-peak times.
