1 Reviews on “Baie du Lamentin”
Anchoring at Baie du Lamentin offers a quiet and scenic spot with a decent holding in mud. The water depth is fine, and the anchorage is fairly protected from the winds, though it can get a bit rolly at times, depending on the swell.
The area is quite calm and feels remote, which is nice if you’re looking for a peaceful escape. The mangroves lining the bay add a unique charm, and you can spot quite a bit of wildlife around. The shore is easily accessible, but it’s a bit muddy near the edges, so a good pair of shoes helps when heading ashore.
The town isn’t far, but it’s not a bustling hub. Still, for a relaxed stay and some tranquility, Baie du Lamentin is a good option.
