Practical anchorage with its own unique perks. As a sailor, I found its proximity to the commercial area of Jarry quite convenient for stocking up on supplies.

The anchorage itself has a somewhat muddy bottom, which can make setting the anchor a bit tricky. It might not hold as securely as you’d like, so it’s wise to double-check your anchor setup and be prepared for occasional adjustments. Despite this, the location offers easy access to a small beach at the back of the bay, perfect for landing your dinghy and stretching your legs.

While it’s not the most scenic spot compared to other anchorages in Guadeloupe, its accessibility to local amenities makes it a practical choice, especially if you’re in need of a quick resupply or some urban convenience.
