The bay is a large, bustling area where you can anchor securely in sandy conditions at depths ranging from 12 to 16 meters. The holding is generally good, and the bay is well-protected, though it’s not free from challenges. Expect to share the space with a number of boats, including excursion vessels that can create noise and movement, particularly during the day.The music and activity from nearby establishments can be quite loud, especially at night. On the practical side, Marmaris is an excellent spot for provisioning and repairs. There are numerous marine shops, and the nearby city offers a variety of amenities. For those who enjoy exploring, the town has much to offer, though it can be crowded and noisy. Anchoring closer to the marina can provide better access to services.
