I dropped anchor near the two little sandy beaches to the north, and the spot turned out to be a real gem. The water was clean, and I enjoyed some lovely snorkeling. It’s a great spot.
The village itself felt a bit sleepy when I visited, and there wasn’t much going on. The locals I interacted with were friendly and welcoming. There’s a nice little pier where you can tie up your dinghy, and it’s handy for hopping ashore to explore.
One thing to be aware of is that there were no official mooring fees, but a local ranger did come by and asked for a fee, which caught me off guard. Despite that, the area’s natural beauty and the chance to experience a quieter side of St. Lucia made it worth the visit.
