    Ernest Hemingway cherished the Caorle Lagoon, a protected haven teeming with unique flora like orchids, Venetian glasswort, and the rare Caspian lemon tree. Home to over 280 bird species, from red herons to mallards, it’s also a breeding ground for diverse fish. Foxes have even been sighted here!
